The Eastern Bluebirds are out in full force but they will not let me get close. This beautiful male landed in the shade of this evergreen as I was zoning out, waiting for something good to happen. This was something good, indeed.
One of the most consistent and reliable migrants is the Palm Warbler. I see them every year in the Spring and then the Fall. They only stop by briefly on their way up to Canada to breed. It's still fun to see their bright plumage and wagging tails, even if it's only for a week or so.
